MIgun Thermal massage combines deep far-infrared heat, massage therapy, acupuncture and acupressure while gently flexing and stretching your spine and relaxing your muscles. The jade massage heads are placed in a specific measurement to help stimulate better blood flow and nerve conduction along your spine which helps to stimulate your autonomic nervous system deep within your body. Your autonomic nervous system controls all the functions that happen in your body, such as blood pressure, blood glucose regulation, digestion, bladder function, and breathing.

HOW IS THIS PROCEDURE DONE?

      The Migun thermal massage consists of a warm, comfortable, and relaxing fifteen minute session that  helps to relax muscles, reduce joint pain and stiffness, and increases circulation. Specially designed and patented jade massage heads run up and down your back from the tip of your head to the bottom of your tailbone. The massage heads also run up and down each leg.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Recent spinal surgery

  • Phlebitis/Blood Clots

  • Fused discs or implanted spinal/scoliosis rods or any other spinal hardware/ implants that react to heat or which cannot tolerate pressure from massage.

  • Fractures or suspected fractures that have not healed

  • Malignant tumors or currently receiving cancer treatment

  • Traumatic spinal injuries that have not healed

  • Currently pregnant

  • Severe osteoporosis

  • Surgery within the past six months

  • Pacemaker/ICD

  • Artificial organs

  • Any condition that my be adversely affected by massage, pressure, heat or increased circulation
